FuntCase yet again brings the heat to Circus Records with latest release
One of Circus Records’ staple artists, FuntCase is known for his high energy productions and stage performance. Bringing an unrivaled passion and humility to the industry, we’re always beyond excited to see what’s new with this esteemed producer – ‘4 Barz of Fury’ has absolutely blown away our already high expectations. With immediately ominous undertones, the track opens with a dark energy, pumping us full of adrenaline from the get-go. The thudding bass pairs perfectly with Merky Ace’s verses, and the adrenaline just keeps building.
A grime MC from South London, Merky Ace’s vocals add a unique twist to the track, but we absolutely love it. That grime sound pairs really well with FuntCase’s dark, high energy production, and we just couldn’t be happier with the result.
This track is an absolute weapon. Pumped full of heavy bass from start to finish, this is the kind of track you go absolutely nuts for the first time you hear it – and every time after. FuntCase’s sound design is absolutely incredible – despite being such a chaotic track, you can still hear the craftsmanship that went into it, something we’ve come to know and love from the producer.
The first drop is absolute filth, delivering non-stop filthy basslines and utter annihilation. This track does serious damage, and we’re getting riled up just listening at home – imagine the chaos when this gets dropped live. Despite being incredibly heavy, there are so many elements at play in the track that we pick up on something different with each listen. We love FuntCase because he delivers absolute chaos in the most beautifully orchestrated way.
Despite having some absolutely monstrous drops, FuntCase still pays ample attention to the build ups and everything else in between – his careful production is especially evident in the last minute, where a whole new array of sounds are introduced while the energy remains high. ‘4 Barz of Fury’ is an absolute monster of a track, and we can’t wait to start using it in our own sets to ensure utter annihilation. Definitely not for the lighthearted, this track once again proves just why FuntCase is a force to be reckoned with in the world of bass music.
